The Olive Residence
The brief
A young family moving from a busy shophouse wanted the opposite: a home that felt quiet, green and grounded, with room for two small children to play and parents who work from home.
We kept the original layout but rebuilt almost everything inside it. Olive and stone tones bring the view indoors, and full-height timber joinery hides toys, files and everything in between.

The approach
Every surface was chosen to age well: oak floors, limewash walls, honed stone and linen. We designed the kitchen as the heart of the home, with an island long enough for homework, breakfast and dinner parties.
